After taking over his father’s steel factory in Sourdeval, Degrenne ingeniously repurposed recycled steel from World War II tanks to create stainless steel cutlery, achieving immediate success. Known for his commitment to minimizing waste, he utilized second-hand machinery and refined designs to reduce scraps, which he cleverly resold to suppliers.
